  1st place prize and a $200.00 2nd place prize and a booking at each of th
 e Dick Doherty Comedy Clubs and at GOTHAM COMEDY CLUB NYC.\n\nThe Contest 
 is being held Thursday nights at Dick's Beantown Comedy Vault. 10 comics w
 ill compete each week for 10 weeks followed by 3 weeks of semi finals. Eac
 h week there will be a $50.00 and $25.00 prize for 1st and 2nd Place. The 
 Semi-final prizes will be $75.00\, $50.00\, & $25.00.\n\nAll comics who ha
 ve performed in at least 1 Open Mic Night at any comedy club and made no m
 ore than a $200 average per month for doing comedy for the past 6 months w
 ill be eligible for entry.\n\nEntrance fee is $35. Sign up at Dick Doherty
  Comedy main office 800-401-2221.\n\nJudging will be by 2 industry and med
 ia judges and the audience. Voting will be on a scale of 1 to 5 by each ju
 dge for each comic. The 2 comics with the highest totals from the 2 judges
  & Audience votes will win 1st & 2nd place.\n\nComedy Riot T-Shirt will be
  available at Our Cost and they must be pre-ordered when signing up for co
