 : 2012-06-02\nEvent Date End: 2012-06-03\n\nAbout the Program:\n\nOTP's ac
 ting and theatrical foundation starts with the Resident Actor Program. The
 se members\, 10 women and 10 men of all ages will represent the face of OT
 P's acting endeavors and support the many performance needs for OTP's ongo
 ing programing and marketing campaigns.\n\nEach session is a 6-month volun
 teer commitment with our summer/winter season lasting from June &ndash\; D
 ecember 2012* . Each member will be responsible to participate in as many 
 events as possible\, though given varying casting requirements\, support a
 nd alternative positions may be assigned. OTP has always striven to break 
 boundaries and we expect our RAP to constantly support that mission.\nMont
 hly Commitments and Opportunities:\n\nPlaywriting Workshop : An on-going m
 onthly workshop where Resident Actors will present a reading of a new play
  and moderate conversation and analysis between the actors themselves\, th
 e playwright and the audience.\n\nComposer Soiree: A podcast produced by O
 TP which integrates segments featuring new works of various artistic mediu
 ms. Each month\, Resident Actors will be given  opportunities to participa
 te in readings of plays\, short stories\, poetry\, and more. Resident Acto
 rs will also provide support for any recorded advertisements for OTP and i
 t's partners and each member will be featured in their own &ldquo\;meet th
 e artist&rdquo\; segment.\n\nOTP Season Selection/Private Readings: as new
  plays and other production materials are collected there will be opportun
 ities for Resident Artists to participate in readings and discussions. The
 se sessions will help develop our season as well as allow the Resident Act
 ors to voice their opinions for OTP's future.\n\nAnd more&hellip\; as we c
 ontinue to grow\, the input of those we work with is vital. We want to kno
 w what our Resident Actors wants and needs are and from there\, we start s
 upporting their dreams and ours.\n\n*During the 6 month sessions\, time co
 mmitments will be based completely around the schedules of the members (so
  fret not\, we want you to keep that day job AND do what you love)!\n\nCom
 pensation/Benefits:\n\nThough we cannot provide financial compensation to 
 our Resident Actors for this session\, individuals will be given priority 
 consideration for all paid opportunities OTP provides this year.  Aside fr
 om being those first considered for all OTP productions involving acting e
 lements\, Resident Actors will be given FEATURED ACTOR profiles on TheOpen
 Theatre.com\, chances to publish their own blogs/articles with OTP\,  a &l
 dquo\;Meet the artist&rdquo\; exclusive interviews for The Composer Soir&e
 acute\;e\, and more.\nAudition Requirements:\n\nResume / Headshot\n1 Conte
