 \n\nOur spectacular season opens with an eagerly anticipated BEMF d&eacute
 \;but by the world-renowned chamber ensemble\, Concerto K&ouml\;ln. Founde
 d in 1985 by a group of conservatory graduates from all over Europe\, the 
 fourteen artists of Concerto K&ouml\;ln have impressed critics and audienc
 es alike with their enthusiastic and energetic performances. Operating wit
 hout a permanent conductor\, each member of the ensemble contributes artis
 tic ideas to this true cooperative collaboration\, or concertare. They hav
 e an extensive discography of over fifty recordings\, and have received th
 e Grammy Award\, the Echo Klassik\, the Diapason d'Or\, and many other hon
 ors. For their BEMF d&eacute\;but\, Concerto K&ouml\;ln has created a Baro
 que program for strings\, flutes\, bassoon\, and harpsichord\, featuring d
 azzling and intimate concertos by Handel\, Vivaldi\, Telemann\, and dall'A
