 Hartford\, Connecticut. Leading a band that plays straight-ahead jazz\, Je
 sse tries to bring a classic jazz guitar sound to the bandstand. Joined by
  a great set of musicians\, this group performs a refreshing take on the g
 reat american songbook and features original compositions by members of th
 e band.'\nThe first hour of the jam is a concert\, featuring the host band
  - some of the finest musicians from the area and often featuring great pl
 ayers from NYC and beyond. After the first hour\, we open it up to the 'ja
 mmers' who get the opportunity sit in and hone their skills trading licks 
 with some of the finest players in the area. Some of the best jazz can be
