Six dance companies will convene at the Dance Complex on August 10 to pick themes at random\, and create brand new choreography overnight. The new work will debut in a concert on August 11\, for curiou s audiences to see just what can be accomplished in one night. The festiva l will serve to build the local dance community by housing several artists in one building for a long block of time\, and also to give back to the B oston community\, that makes art possible. All profits from the festival w ill be donated to the Young at Arts Program\, part of the South Boston Ins titute for a Healthier Community/Community Health Center.\n\nThe 2012 part icipating companies and choreographers are Monkeyhouse\, People Movers Dan ce\, 1\,000 Virtues Dance\, Sarah Mae Gibbons & Renee Amirault\, Synthesis Aesthetics Project\, and Luminarium Dance. The culminating concert will f eature the work of the aforementioned companies\, as well as an opening pe rformance by young members of Jo-Mé\; Dance.
