 class offers students the opportunity to explore personal directions in me
 talwork. A range of techniques will be explored and requested demonstratio
 ns with be scheduled to maximize learning. Possible areas of exploration i
 nclude forging\, advanced soldering techniques and casting. The advancemen
 t of jewelry design and fabrication\, with consideration of function and c
 raftsmanship are goals of this course. Jewelry I is a prerequisite for thi
 s course. Students will be responsible for the cost of materials.  \n\nFor
  safety reasons we ask everyone to comply with the dress code policy in th
 e Metals Department: Closed-toe footwear (no high heels)\, pants/shorts mu
 st go below the knee\, long hair must be pulled back from the face and sec
 ured. *Material fees in addition to student fee\, will vary depending upon
