 3-07-20\n\nMichael Chekhov Actors Studio Boston is now accepting applicati
 ons for its nine-month Meisner Foundation Training program. The course wil
 l meet twice weekly beginning September 2012.  \n\nThe program is a profes
 sional training in the fundamentals of acting. It is precisely modeled aft
 er the first year of the two-year training that Sanford Meisner devised an
 d taught successfully for decades. Award-winning actors from Robert Duvall
  to Sam Rockwell\, Diane Keaton to Sandra Bullock\, are trained in Meisner
 . The training prepares the actor to work professionally with a keen sense
  of truth and the instinct for genuine contact\, committed action\, and sp
 ontaneous expressive behavior.\n\nThe Meisner Foundation Training is struc
 tured as a progressive series of seven\, four-week sessions. An eighth\, s
 ix-week summer session completes the program:\n\nSession 1: Contact\, Poin
 t of View\, Working-Off\nSession 2: The Independent Activity   \nSession 3
 : Higher Stakes ?    \nSession 4: Working with Text I\nSession 5: Daydream
 s\, Fantasy\, and the Creative Imagination\nSession 6: Life and Death \nSe
 ssion 7: Messy Relationships\nSession 8: Working with Text II (Summer)\n\n
 \nMaster teacher Scott Fielding directs and leads The Meisner Foundation T
 raining. Mr. Fielding was privileged to train in Meisner technique with Su
 zanne Esper at New York's William Esper Studio. After graduating\, he was 
 invited into a third year of advanced training with Bill Esper. Mr. Esper\
 , who was trained by and worked closely with Sandy Meisner for many years\
 , is widely regarded as the foremost authority on Meisner technique. In ad
 dition to his Meisner expertise\, Mr. Fielding has twenty-five years exper
 ience directing\, acting and teaching with the Chekhov method. An internat
 ionally awarded stage director\, Mr. Fielding is also on the international
  faculty of the Michael Chekhov Association (MICHA)\, the faculty of New E
 ngland Conservatory of Music\, and frequently teaches master classes in Eu
 rope and the U.S.\n\n\n\nThe Studio is also taking applications for The Ad
