 ce is your opportunity to explore the inner Drag King inside you AND have 
 a chance to strut your stuff onstage!  During this 6-week intensive we wil
 l explore the ins and outs of what makes a successful Drag King through ge
 nder illusion\, costuming\, physicality\, character creation\, acting tech
 nique\, movement\, and story development.  This course culminates with eac
 h student creating their own performance piece to showcase at our Drag Kin
 g Slam!\nSo\, what's a Drag King again?:  Well\, perhaps you've heard of a
  Drag Queen?  Simply put\, a Drag King is the counterpart &ndash\; a perfo
 rmance critiquing the masculine character in society.  The drag culture at
  large generally injects politics\, pop-culture commentary\, sexuality\, o
 rientation\, identity and gender exploration into the center of much of it
 s material&hellip\;  While we each develop our own POV on the art form\, w
 e'll also touch on: Bio Queens and Drag Queens\, High Femme Performance\, 
 Transgender Identity vs. Gender Performance\, Queer and Straight: identity
