 1969\, Little Feat's unconventional signature of earthy\, organic appeal a
 nd polished\, first-rate musicianship wrapped around eclectic and memorabl
 e songs--clearly delivered as an authentic labor of love--has been a lasti
 ng fixture on the musical landscape. As American as apple pie--and rock 'n
  roll itself--Feat's music transcends boundaries\, a freewheeling fusion o
 f California rock and Dixie-inflected funk-boogie. In the mix as well are 
 strains of folk\, blues\, rockabilly\, country and jazz\, inventing a hybr
 id sound that is truly Little Feat's own.  That story is about to add a ma
 jor new chapter &ndash\; the 2008 release of Join the Band\, a very specia
 l project in Feat's history which features major Little Feat hit songs as

 a music legend and perhaps the most accomplished and versatile musician in
  the history of rock 'n roll. In his distinguished and unique 50 year care
 er\, he has played on\, arranged\, written and/or produced some of the bes
 t records in popular music.  As a session musician\, arranger\, producer\,
  singer\, songwriter\, pianist\, guitarist\, record company owner\, bandle
 ader\, and touring musician\, he has collaborated with hundreds of artists
 /groups\, including Glen Campbell\, Willie Nelson\, Eric Clapton\, Bob Dyl
 an\, Ringo Starr\, John Lennon\, J.J. Cale\, B.B. King\, Freddie King\, Ba
