  Hartford\, Connecticut. Leading a band that plays straight-ahead jazz\, J
 esse tries to bring a classic jazz guitar sound to the bandstand. Joined b
 y a great set of musicians\, this group performs a refreshing take on the 
 great american songbook and features original compositions by members of t
 he band.'\n \nThe first hour of the jam is a concert\, featuring the host 
 band - some of the finest musicians from the area and often featuring grea
 t players from NYC and beyond. After the first hour\, we open it up to the
  'jammers' who get the opportunity sit in and hone their skills trading li
 cks with some of the finest players in the area. Some of the best jazz can
