 ral Center presents an exceptional cin&eacute\;-concert featuring several 
 Georges M&eacute\;li&egrave\;s films at the Cutler Majestic Theatre. One o
 f the most renowned figures in cinema\, French director Georges M&eacute\;
 li&egrave\;s is still an inspirational figure for great directors and was 
 recently portrayed in Martin Scorsese's Hugo \, winner of five Academy Awa
 rds earlier this year. As in the 1900s\, this cin&eacute\;-concert will in
 clude riveting narration and piano accompaniment performed by M&eacute\;li
 &egrave\;s' great-granddaughter Marie-H&eacute\;l&egrave\;ne Leh&eacute\;r
 issey and Lawrence Leh&eacute\;rissey\, his great-great-grandson. The orig
 inal reels were located\, restored\, preserved and edited thanks to the wo
 rk of the partner association\, The Friends of Georges M&eacute\;li&egrave
 \;s. Paying homage to M&eacute\;li&egrave\;s\, this show has been performe
 d around the world and received the special Prize of the City of Vincennes
  2010 during the International Cinema Meetings.\n
