  &ldquo\;Fire\,&rdquo\; &ldquo\;Voodoo Child (Slight Return)&rdquo\; toget
 her with never-before-heard live performances. Funk legend and Rock and Ro
 ll Hall of Fame member Bootsy Collins of Parliament-Funkadelic renown is f
 eatured as the voice of Jimi Hendrix.\nJimi Plays Berkeley showcases some 
 of Hendrix's finest ever performances filmed over two concerts at the Berk
 eley (California) Community Theatre on May 30\, 1970. The film documents t
 he political unrest and student uprisings in Berkeley juxtaposed against b
 listering Hendrix live performances of &ldquo\;Johnny B. Goode\,&rdquo\; &
 ldquo\;Star Spangled Banner\,&rdquo\; &ldquo\;I Don't Live Today&rdquo\; a
 nd\, &ldquo\;Purple Haze. This new digitally restored transfer from the or
 iginal 16mm negative includes more than 15 minutes of newly discovered\, p
 reviously unseen documentary and performance footage of such classic songs
  as &ldquo\;Voodoo Child (Slight Return)\,&rdquo\; &ldquo\;Machine Gun&rdq
 uo\; and &ldquo\;Hear My Train A Comin'&rdquo\; not featured in the origin
 al film release.
