 ave tried desperately to have a baby. But where science fails\, faith pers
 ists. When informed that Mommy's 'degraded uterus' offers no chance of in 
 vitro implantation\, Mommy and Daddy have a life-affirming epiphany: rathe
 r than discard or donate their embryos\, they take them home and raise the
 m like children. All might be well\, except that the embryos\, Leggo and E
 ggo\, have voracious appetites and uncanny abilities beyond their developm
 ental stage. When they run amok\, the poor would-be parents are faced with
  a choice: save their embryos from the world\, or save the world from thei
 r embryos.\nGinger Lazarus (Playwright) is an award-winning playwright who
 se work has been frequently produced in her native Boston and beyond. Rece
 nt projects include A Blessing and a Curse: A Duet of Plays on Motherhood\
 , an evening of two one-act plays presented by Spiced Wine Productions\; a
 nd Mary\, a short film based on her stageplay. Her play Matter Familias re
 ceived an IRNE nomination for Best New Play\; other honors include the Joh
 n Gassner Memorial Playwriting Award for MOCKBA: A Play About Moscow and s
 election as a ten-minute play finalist in the Kennedy Center American Coll
 ege Theater Festival for Shooting Sparks. Her plays have been produced loc
 ally by Boston Playwrights' Theatre\, Another Country Productions\, Centas
 tage\, Queer Soup\, Playwrights' Platform\, and the Boston Theater Maratho
 n\, and have been featured nationally in Untitled Theater's 24/7 Festival 
 (New York)\, Philadelphia Gay and Lesbian Theater Festival\, Pan Theater T
 en Minute Play Festival (San Francisco)\, Women's Theatre Project's Naked 
 Women Fully Clothed (Ft. Lauderdale)\, and the Last Frontier Theatre Confe
 rence Play Lab (Valdez\, Alaska). Ginger holds a master's degree in playwr
 iting from Boston University and teaches at the University of Massachusett
 s Boston and Emerson College. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild\, St
