 lding.  A reception will follow.\nPhilippe Leroux is an Associate Professo
 r in composition at the Schulich School of Music\, McGill University. At t
 he Paris Conservatory he studied with Ivo Malec\, Claude Ballif\, Pierre S
 ch&auml\;effer and Guy Reibel\; he also studied with Olivier Messiaen\, Fr
 anco Donatoni\, Betsy Jolas\, Jean-Claude Eloy and Iannis X&eacute\;nakis.
  His compositions\, about sixty to date\, include symphonic\, vocal\, elec
 tronic\, acousmatic and chamber music. and have been commissioned and perf
 ormed internationally. He has received many prizes and awards and has taug
 ht at IRCAM\, McGill\, Universite de Montreal and others.
