 or coming. This season is a time of preparation and expectation for the co
 ming celebration of the light of Christ entering the world. Lessons and Ca
 rols is a contemplative service of readings from the Hebrew Scriptures\, t
 he New Testament\, and contemporary poetry\, that traces the story of our 
 salvation history. The readings will be interspersed with Advent hymns\, s
 pecial music by the Choir of Episcopal Divinity School\, and portions of B
 ach's Magnificat. This year we welcome Ellen Oak as our new Director of Mu
 sic and Heinrich Christensen as our guest organist. Heinrich is the Music 
 Director at King's Chapel in Boston.   A festive reception will be held at
  the Deanery directly after the service. All are invited.\n\nStart time: 6
