 rofessor Jonathan Sarna (When General Grant Expelled the Jews) will explor
 e the Civil War from their unique perspectives at the Leventhal-Sidman Jew
 ish Community Center on Wednesday\, November 28 at 7:30pm.  The talk will 
 include a provocative discussion of when General Ulysses S. Grant issued a
 n order to expel Jews from their homes in the midst of the Civil War and t
 he later political reverberations it may have caused.\nThe program is a Ry
 na Greenbaum JCC Boston Jewish Book Fair event. A free film screening of J
 ewish Soldiers in Blue and Gray will take place at the JCC at 1pm the same
