 e End: 2012-12-09\n\nOn Sunday\, December 9 at 10:00 am Newton Baroque and
  the Choir of Second Church in Newton will present two advent cantatas by 
 Phillip Heinrich Erlebach (1657-1714) at Second Church in Newton. From 168
 1 to his death\, Erlebach was the Kappelmeister to Count Phillip Anton at 
 the Th&uuml\;ringian Court Schwarzberg-Rudolstadt. He was quite prolific\,
  writing at least five cycles of cantatas. His cantatas rank among the bes
 t of his generation\, though sadly most of his output burned in a fire in 
 Rudolstadt not long after his death.  The two cantatas featured on Decembe
 r 9th are tremendously beautiful and are sure to warm your soul on a chill
 y December morning. Both cantatas feature rich 5- and 6-voice textures wit
 h 3 violins\, 2 viola da gambas and continuo.\nSoloists include Julia Stei
