 3-04-09\n\n Zolotoj Plyos was founded in 1994 by Alexander Solovov\, Elena
  Sadina\, and Sergei Grachev\, all graduates of the Saratov State Conserva
 tory. While they were students they collected traditional Russian folk son
 gs and bell music in rural villages and towns. The group's repertoire incl
 udes folk songs and instrumental pieces from various parts of Russia\, Ukr
 aine\, Belarus\, Moldova\, Georgia\, and other areas\, and also features G
 ypsy music\, Russian popular music\, and Jewish music.  The Zolotoj Plyos 
 ensemble has performed all over the world\, including concerts at the Kenn
 edy Center for the Performing Arts and the main hall of the Moscow State T
 chaikovsky Conservatory.
