 A member of the Boston Chamber Music Society\, Randall Hodgkinson has give
 n solo performances with the orchestras of Atlanta\, Philadelphia\, Boston
 \, Cleveland\, and New York. During this recital\, Hodgkinson will not onl
 y be playing the piano\, but will introduce a new piece\, as well as it ca
 n be played. The Gramercy Piano Trio\, featuring Hodgkinson on piano\, vio
 linist Sharan Leventhal\, and cellist Jonathan Miller\, will be premiering
  the Gunther Schuller Piano Trio. Hodgkinson completed his Bachelor of Mus
 ic degree with honors at New England Conservatory in 1976\, attending NEC 
 during the era in which Gunther Schuller served as President\, and was als
 o soloist under Schuller while on a fellowship to Tanglewood. Hodgkinson i
 s thrilled to be debuting this piece composed by a visionary who has compo
 sed over 180 works\, ranging from orchestral and solo works to jazz.\nHodg
 kinson will also be performing Bach's beloved Goldberg Variations\, a mast
 erpiece that is not approached lightly and only when the performer has a p
 oignant interpretation to share.\nAlso on the program are piano pieces by 
 Faur&eacute\;\, which are sure to be emblematic of Faur&eacute\;'s ability
  to connect Romanticism with a more modern sound\, diverging from the use
