 is extremely popular\, high energy band\, is known as a &ldquo\;rock n' ro
 ll band with a latin soul.&rdquo\; Their album\, &ldquo\;On My Way\,&rdquo
 \; was a huge hit and the group became 92.5 The River's house band for sev
 eral years.  officially formed in January\, 2001 in Asbury Park\, New Jers
 ey\, the band toured extensively on the east coast for many of their early
  years and landed a record deal with Curb Records.  deSoL quickly became i
 nvolved in large tours as a supporting act\, including an opening slot for
  REM at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City\, Mexico. deSoL support
 ed many acts from Blues Traveler\, Los Lonely Boys\, Ozomatli\, Cypress Hi
 ll\, Arrested Development\, Widespread Panic\, and many others. In 2005\, 
 deSoL toured extensively with the legendary Wailers\, playing to sold out 
 venues 6 nights a week for 4 months. This brought the band to perfect thei
 r stage show and gain national and international exposure. The band perfor
 med at all of the major festivals including Bonaroo\, Lollapalooza\, Austi
 n City Limits\, All Good\, South by Southwest\, Langarado\, Nashville Rive
 r Stages\, and several others.
