 .\nTonight's program is centered around Hindemith's work for solo piano\, 
 Ludus tonalis. Contrary to its dry subtitle ('Studies in Counterpoint\, To
 nal Organization and Piano Playing\,') the piece offers an exploration of 
 matters of technique\, theory\, inspiration\, and communication through it
 s twelve interconnected fugues. \nAlso featured will be Suite 1922 with it
 s five movements based on popular dances or genres of the time (March\, Sh
 immy\, and Ragtime among them.) Based on\, but by no means adhering to the
