 w England's premiere film and television events. The Redstone Film Festiva
 l features film projects written and directed by graduate and undergraduat
 e students from the Boston University's College of Communication.\nEach ye
 ar the highly anticipated festival plays to a sell-out audience of student
 s and friends from across the BU community. The top three films and cash p
 rizes are awarded the night of the event:\n&bull\;	1st place: $2\,000\n&bu
 ll\;	2nd place: $1\,000\n&bull\;	3rd place: $500\nOver the years\, Redston
 e winners and finalists have turned out to be some of America's most succe
 ssful directors\, screenwriters and producers. Many films screened at the 
 Redstone festival have been nominated and won in film festivals all around
  the world and two have even earned Academy Award nominations.
