 ranches are an independent\, self-writing and self-producing collective. B
 irthed in a living room in the suburbs of Los Angeles in 2010\, Tyler\, Na
 talie\, Jacob\, Mitch\, Tyler\, and Mike have since spent their time toget
 her making friends\, playing shows\, and writing and recording the songs f
 or their EPs ('O\, Light!'\, 'Cabin'\, 'Covers'\, 'Songs For Christmas') a
 nd their full-length ('Thou Art The Dream'\, released 2/12).\n \nFollowing
  a successful release party at Echo Country Outpost\, Broken Anchor immedi
 ately began work on Vol. 2\, released at the end of August and Vol. 3\, re
 leased in October. The new offerings are indicative of the evolution of th
 e band towards a more rocking sound.\n
