 monthly series of folk & fairy tale slams events - Slamming the Tradition 
 - Six traditional storytelling events for adults. from OCT 2012 - MAR 2013
 \n\nThursday evenings: Oct 18\, Nov 15\, Dec 20\, Jan 17\, Feb 14\, Mar 14
 .\nWe are in the planning stages of a program that challenges tellers to u
 se a prop or costume piece among other fun guidelines including:\ntell a 7
  minute story\nmust be fiction and in some traditional form\nyou may use a
  prop\, costume\, music BUT no notes\nWe have secured the prizes and the a
 udience will choose winners:\nA bag of magic beans = 1st\nA magic wishing 
 stone = 2nd\nA small bale of hay = 3rd\nAdditional prizes including free p
 asses to story slams + mugs and T-shirts maybe added. More details to come
