 our program is Robert Levin's reconstruction of Mozart's Symphonie Concert
 ante for winds & orchestra. Through his research\, Dr. Levin uncovered the
  work's fascinating history\, full of itinerant soloists\, artistic power 
 struggles\, and anonymous copyists. Dr. Levin himself will be delivering a
  pre-concert lecture at 2:30pm. Weber's overture to the opera Der Freisch&
 uuml\;tz features perhaps the most famous horn quartet writing of the earl
 y 19th century\, and listeners will have the pleasure of hearing it played
  on natural horns\, as the composer originally intended. Schubert's &ldquo
 \;Unfinished&rdquo\; Symphony needs no introduction\, with its haunting op
 ening in the low strings and sublime slow movement.\n\nStart time: 3:00pm
