 calligrapher Mary Teichman to explore the ancient graphic art of manuscrip
 t illumination and create your own decorated letter. Using historical exam
 ples as models\, students can either copy a design\, or create their own. 
 We will study gilding on paper using 22K gold leaf\, and miniature paintin
 g techniques with egg tempera paint. Students will learn how to make tempe
 ra paint using pure pigment colors and egg yolks. No previous experience i
 s needed. Return home with your own beautifully decorated letter. Tuition 
 includes all supplies. Bring a lunch!\n\nStart time: 9:30 am - 5 pm
