 landscapes. Beginning his artistic studies as a painter in the mid-1970s\,
  Struth soon shifted his attention to photography and\, over three decades
 \, has evolved into one of the world's leading contemporary photographers.
  Struth has been the subject of numerous exhibitions throughout the United
  States\, Europe\, and the Far East\, and today lives and works in the art
