 \nThe interactive and bilingual children's exhibit Literacise builds on th
 e important connection between physical activity and learning. Literacise 
 is inspired by Irene Smalls' story 'Jonathan and His Mommy.' In the story\
 , a young boy and his mother travel together through Boston's South End ne
 ighborhood taking steps of all sizes. Literacise brings the book to life &
 ndash\; and to kid-size scale. Children will be able to zig-zag\, bunny-ho
 p\, and giant-step their way through the interactive exhibit. Literacy + E
 xercise = Literacise. Located outside the Rey Children's Room in the Johns
 on Building.\n\nStart time: The Boston Public Library is open Monday-Thurs
 day\, 9a-9p\; Friday-Saturday 9a-5p\; and from October-May on Sundays 1-5p
