 ll Season\, featuring noted soloist Benjamin Pasternack.\nCelebrating &ldq
 uo\;Music For All&rdquo\; on  Saturday & Sunday\, November 21-22\, 2009 in
  Newton Centre.\nRussian and American compositions rich in musical color a
 nd passion will headline the New Philharmonia Orchestra's Newton Centre pe
 rformance on November 21 & 22.  Renowned pianist Benjamin Pasternack will 
 perform Rachmaninoff's Variations on a Theme of Paganini.  Maestro Ron Knu
 dsen and the New Phil's 75-member orchestra further explore the &ldquo\;Ru
 ssian/American Connection&rdquo\; with American composer Jennifer Higdon's
  soaring work blue cathedral and Rimsky-Korsakov's dramatic Scheherazade. 
  Performances will take place in the beautiful\, late-Victorian surroundin
 gs of the First Baptist Church in Newton Centre: Saturday\, November 21 at
  8pm and Sunday\, November 22 at 3 pm.\nAmong the most experienced and ver
 satile musicians today\, the American pianist Benjamin Pasternack has perf
 ormed as soloist\, recitalist and chamber musician on four continents.  Hi
 s orchestral engagements have included appearances as soloist with the Bos
 ton Symphony Orchestra\, the Philadelphia Orchestra\, the Orchestre Sympho
 nique de Qu&eacute\;bec\, the Tonhalle Orchestra of Zurich\, the New Japan
  Philharmonic\, and many others.\nThe New Philharmonia Orchestra\, founded
  in 1995\, is a 75-member non-professional regional orchestra based in New
 ton. Its motto\, Music For All\, encapsulates the spirit of the organizati
