 ne Music School presents the Suzuki Flute Teacher Training\, Book 3 from T
 hursday\, January 14th through Monday\, January 18th. Over the course of f
 ive days\, trainees will receive 15 hours of classroom time and eight hour
 s of observation time\, in conjunction with the 6th Annual Suzuki Flute Wo
 rkshop at Brookline Music School on Sunday\, January 17th and Monday\, Jan
 uary 18th. The 6th Annual Suzuki Flute Workshop is a two-day workshop feat
 uring a masterclass\, group class and ensemble or reading class each day\,
  which concludes with an informal concert. Non-Suzuki flute students are w
 elcome to join in the fun but should be familiar with some of the repertoi
 re from the Suzuki Method. Suzuki Flute Teacher Trainer Laurel Ann Maurer 
 has been recognized as &ldquo\;one of our outstanding and gifted flutists&
 rdquo\; by her principal teacher\, Julius Baker. She began her Suzuki trai
 ning in 1987 with Rebecca Paluzzi and also studied privately with Toshio T
 akahashi\, founder of the Suzuki Flute Method. Ms. Maurer became a Suzuki 
 Teacher Trainer in 2007. She has concretized throughout the United States\
 , Europe and Asia and has recorded 12 CD's for various labels. She has com
 missioned new flute works from many American composers including Augusta R
 ead Thomas\, Meyer Kupferman\, Jeff Manookian\, Dana Paul Pema\, and Jenni
 fer Higdon. Laurel Ann also studied with Jeanne Baxtresser and Samuel Baro
 n. The Suzuki Flute Teacher Training\, Book 3 will take place at Brookline
  Music School\, 25 Kennard Road\, Brookline\, MA 02445 from Thursday\, Jan
 uary 14th to Monday\, January 18th. Additional offerings include housing\,
