She was the co-curator (wi th Vince Aletti) of the exhibitions Avedon Fashion 1944-2000 and Weird Bea uty: Fashion Photography Now\, and co-curator of Edward Steichen: In High Fashion\, the Condé\; Nast Years\, 1923-1937 and Dress Codes: The Th ird ICP Triennial of Photography and Video\, which were all part of the 20 09 Year of Fashion at ICP. She has edited several books\, most recently\, Overexposed: Essays on Contemporary Photography\, (2000) and previously wa s senior editor at American Photo magazine from 1990 to 2000.
