 ns are the perfect opportunity to come to the Concord Museum. Visit for th
 e first time or revisit favorite galleries &ndash\; all free on the follow
 ing Sunday afternoons: Sunday\, January 10th from 1:00 &ndash\; 4:00\, Sun
 day\, January 17th from 1:00 &ndash\; 4:00 and Sunday\, January 24th from 
 1:00 &ndash\; 4:00.  With one of the oldest collections of Americana in th
 e country\, the Museum is renowned for its national treasures.  In the his
 tory galleries and period rooms of the Museum\, visitors discover the famo
 us lantern hung in the steeple on the night of Paul Revere's ride in 1775\
 , the contents of Henry D. Thoreau's house at Walden Pond\, including the 
 desk on which he wrote &ldquo\;Civil Disobedience&rdquo\; and Walden\, and
  Ralph Waldo Emerson's Study\, where he wrote his influential essays and m
 et with other distinguished writers and thinkers during the American liter
 ary renaissance.  A nationally-significant collection of Concord-made cloc
 ks\, furniture and silver and other decorative arts serve to illustrate th
 ree centuries of Concord's domestic life. Bring the family and see the 15 
 minute film\, &ldquo\;Exploring Concord\,&rdquo\; enjoy treasure hunts for
  younger children and hands-on activities in many of the galleries of the 
 Museum. Also on view is the special exhibition\, 'A Dedication to Craft: N
 orth Bennet Street School @125.'  This juried exhibition\, in collaboratio
 n with Boston's esteemed North End school\, presents contemporary furnitur
 e\, jewelry\, bookbindings\, and musical instruments crafted by 60 of the
