 ational Church in Shrewsbury on Saturday January 30\, 2010\, to join in a 
 Worcester Children's Chorus benefit concert at 4 PM.  The event will featu
 re jazz selections by the trio and assorted choral pieces performed by the
  Worcester Children's Chorus.  Monica Hatch is an established recording an
 d performing artist who hosted the Jazz Matinee on NPR for more than five 
 years. As a sought after soprano\, she has been a soloist with The Massach
 usetts Symphony\, The Thayer Symphony\, The Concord Symphony\, Cathedral o
 f St. Pauls Festival Orchestra\, The Bach Society of Worcester\, The Worce
 ster Chorus and dozens of church choirs. Her role in the Duke Ellington Sa
 cred Concerts at the Boston Globe Jazz and Blues Festivals has brought her
  great acclaim as a jazz soprano.  Cadence Magazine has noted:'Monica Hatc
 h is definitely a Jazz singer. Her voice floats easily along her material

 ster Children's Chorus is in its second year of providing a quality musica
 l experience through training in choral singing. The children range in age
  from 9 to 18 and hail from Worcester and its surrounding communities. The
 y perform a wide variety of classical and contemporary choral music. The a
 rtistic staff of the chorus\, Jennifer Kane\, Malcolm Halliday\, and Phili
 p Montgomery\, brings years of experience in directing treble voices and a
 dult choirs.  A reception with refreshments for sale and a themed basket r
