 l Member Event\nRay Traetti\, associate director of facilities\, Memorial 
 Hall/Lowell Hall Complex\nMemorial Hall was built to commemorate the patri
 otism of the graduates and students of Harvard who served in the US Army a
 nd Navy during the Civil War. Designed by William Ware and Henry Van Brunt
  and completed in 1878\, the Ruskinian Gothic building is a dramatic examp
 le of the architectural style of its time. Within it is Annenberg Hall\, a
  private undergraduate dining hall inspired by the great halls of Oxford a
 nd Cambridge universities. Memorial Hall houses an impressive collection o
 f paintings\, statuary\, and stained glass to which the public has limited
  access\, so this tour is a rare opportunity.\nHarvard Treasures is a new 
 series offered to Harvard Art Museum members only that will explore the un
 iversity's architectural riches and art holdings beyond the museum.\nParti
