 \nInspired by the many medical professionals and rescue workers who have g
 iven of their time and skill to assist the victims of the recent earthquak
 e in Haiti\, some of Boston's finest singers and players of early music ha
 ve joined forces to assist relief efforts by doing what they do best. Led 
 by soprano Jaya Lakshminarayanan\, a former hospital volunteer in Haiti's 
 interior\, they have assembled a program of psalms interpreted by French r
 enaissance composers le Jeune and Goudimel\, modern New England composers 
 Karl Henning and Steven Serpa\, and the German baroque master Johann Sebas
 tian Bach. Proceeds from the concert go to support the relief effort of th
 e H&ocirc\;pital Albert Schweitzer in Deschapelles\, Haiti.  H&ocirc\;pita
 l Albert Schweitzer\, founded in 1956 by Larimer and Gwen Mellon\, provide
 s medical care and community health and development programs for more than
  300\,000 impoverished people in the Artibonite Valley of central Haiti. V
 isiting medical professionals from North America and abroad work with a pe
 rmanent Haitian staff of almost 550. Financial support comes from partner 
 organizations and private individuals around the world.\n\nStart time: 8pm
