  2010-05-15\n\nThe Tell-Tale Heart-&ldquo\;A truly Poe-etic ballet!&rdquo\
; An innovative new Ballet based on Edgar Allen Poe's famous short story.
Interpreting the story from the viewpoint of a female Narrator\, award-win
ning dancer/choreographer Kira Seamon\, will combine imaginative staging\,
lighting and set design\, props and choreography with live music and narr
ation. Composer/conductor Chris Fitzgerald of the Berklee College of Music
will debut his amazing original score and conduct musicans from the schoo
l during the performance. Carolyn Charpie\, critically acclaimed actress\,
recently from the Savannah Disputation of the SpeakEasy Stage Company\, (
a resident theatre company of Boston Center for the Arts)\, will expertly
perform the role of the Narrator. Striking dancers Brittany Delany\, Anne
Goldberg and Cathryn McCann will perform the roles of the 3 Policemen. \nI
ncorporating the hot trend of body percussion into the choreography and gi
ving the 3 Policemen flashlights as props(!!)\, Kira will create a 'Heartb
eat Rhythm' that will combine with the music and create an intensity for t
he story's dramatic ending. Come see this truly Poe-etic ballet! Audien
ces have described Kira's work with New England Light Opera last year as '
one-of-a-kind...a triumphant evening...a feast for the senses\, so many te
xtures/feelings\, each more gorgeous than the last...very talented...terri
fic' and Kira's dancing was described as very graceful and beautiful. More
about Kira Seamon's work can be seen on her Channel on Youtube!! Also pe
