 s an affordable destination for families seeking a fun-filled holiday week
 end. Featured among the thirty-four acts are Chris Smither\, Susan Werner\
 , John Gorka\, Little Johnny England\, Vance Gilbert\, Paul McKenna Band\,
  Peter Mulvey and James Keelaghan. Situated in the beautiful New Bedford W
 haling National Historical Park\, the New Bedford Summerfest has gained a 
 reputation as one of the finest folk festival in the country. The festival
  also features a high quality crafts show with over ninety juried\, handma
 de crafts for sale at affordable prices. Food will also be available inclu
 ding the justifiably world famous New Bedford scallops. Since Summerfest i
 s a family festival\, a children activity area will also be featured. Fest
 ival hours are Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 9:00pm at $15 a day or
