 amic Spain\, and the exquisite ornamental gardens of the fifteenth century
 \, designed solely for pleasure and sensual delight. Selected slide images
  of paintings and manuscript illuminations illustrate details of medieval 
 gardeners at work\, the tools they used and the surprising views of their
