Activities during the week include interactive theater performances, gallery tours, and art-making activities that will transport families to the Nile. Kids can create Egyptian-inspired jewelry; draw on fragile materials like papyrus, wood and cloth; use clay to create a work of art, or go on a search for ancient animals in the Egyptian galleries. There will also be opportunities to watch and participate in a special interactive performance, 'An Evening at Giza,' about Queen Hetepheres (whose tomb was found in Giza, Egypt, during the Harvard-MFA Expedition in 1925), listen to stories about ancient Egypt; and join a Family Gallery Tour focusing on hieroglyphs and their meanings.=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:10 am - 4 pm
