A native of Los Angeles and a resident of New York, Biggers creates multidisciplinary artworks that integrate film/video installation, sculpture, music, and performance and will discuss some of the ideas behind his work in this lecture. In?uenced by his experiences living throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan, and by Buddhism, hip-hop and urban culture, Biggers's work is known for its combination of meditative rigor and improvisatory edge.
