Enjoy a new way to view ballet with cabaret-style seating, close-up view of the dancers, and cocktails during the show.=0D=0A=Revel Without A Cause features a world premiere by Mr. Mateo as a triumphant close to the company's 22nd season.  The concert features Reverie (premiered in 2003) set to Ravel's Piano Concert in G.  The Boston Globe called this work “high-speed hijinks, expertly danced…a buttery, slow motion duet that demonstrates Mateo's facility in designing unusual partnerships.” The concert also includes the premiere of Revel Without A Cause set to Terry Riley's 2004 composition, The Cusp of Magic for String Quartet and Pipa.=0D=0A=Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre's Revel Without A Cause offers Boston audiences the only opportunity to see new classical ballet.
