Please prepare one verse or verse/chorus from a contemporary song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. Those called back may be asked to perform a movement combination, song/dialogue from the show, and an improv exercise. Those auditioning for VP Panch, please prepare a one- to two-minute comedic monologue only.  Main characters include Leaf Coneybear, Chip Tolentino, Rona Lisa Peretti, Vice Principal Douglas Panch, Mitch Mahoney, Olive Ostrovsky, William Barfée, Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre, and Marcy Park. Other characters include Carl Grubenierre, Dan Schwartz, Leaf's Dad, Leaf's Mom, Leaf's Siblings (Marigold, Brooke, Pinecone, Landscape, Raisin, and Paul), Olive's Mom and Dad, and Jesus. May or may not be doubled with main roles above.  Rehearsals will run May 31st-June 24th with performances June 25th-27th and July 1st-3rd.  This incredibly popular production combines comedy, song, and the quirkiness of puberty to create a lovable theatre experience. Director Steve Black and Musical Director Lianne Goodwin, along with Choreographer Lara Finn, will collaborate on this hit musical that has had audiences buzzing since its 2005 debut on Broadway.
