DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Event Name: Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead=0D=0AEvent Url: http://www.artsboston.org/event/detail/440868321=0D=0AEvent Date Begin: 2011-04-28=0D=0AEvent Date End: 2011-05-01=0D=0A=0D=0ABy Bert V. Royal Directed by Summer L. Williams Apr 28-May 1 Laurie Theater Your favorite comic strip characters are all grown up and stuck in high school where drugs, sex and identity are now the topic of conversation. CB's dog has died, his best friend Van is strung-out on something, the little red-headed girl pushes Van's sister to destructive acts of violence and Beethoven has a crush on CB. Not so good grief all around. But new kinds of lessons are learned -- torn from today's headlines -- sometimes in the hardest, cruelest way, in this contemporary comedy directed by Elliot Norton Award winning director Summer L. Williams from Company One. Mature themes, language and situations; recommended for audiences over the age of 16. Made possible through generous support from the Robin, Barbara and Malcolm L. Sherman Endowment for the Performing Arts.=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:Thursday, April 28, 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2:00 p.m.
