Streams (premiered in 2009), set to Terry Riley's The Cusp of Magic for String Quartet and Pipa, explores the dynamic tensions between partners in various complex relationships.  The concert concludes with a Mateo world premiere.  Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre's Realm of Suspense offers Boston audiences the only opportunity to see new classical ballet.
