This historic evening features a multi-generational group of blues, rock, hip-hop and jazz musicians who will honor the 95 year old, one of the most revered of the early Delta bluesman and the last living link to Robert Johnson. This show bridges the full musical spectrum tying in modern day hip-hop, jazz and classic rock to the music of the Delta where it all started.=0D=0A==0D=0A=Musicians range from age 16 to 95 and include such well-known performers as Aerosmith's Brad Whitford, the James Montgomery Band with David Hull from the Joe Perry Project, Barry Goodreau (formerly of the band Boston), Michael Carabello of Santana and the Rolling Stones, the Uptown Horns (horn section for the Rolling Stones and James Brown), as well as some of the hottest rising stars such as hip-hop sensation Sammy Adams, international jazz phenom Grace Kelly, and hot young guitarists Desiree Bassett and Graham Whitford.=0D=0A==0D=0A=Honeyboy, who at age 95 still maintains a heavy touring schedule, is connected to almost every major blues legend, including Howlin' Wolf, Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters, Charlie Patton, Big Joe Williams, Rice 'Sonny Boy Williamson' Miller, Peetie Wheatstraw, Sunnyland Slim, Big Walter, Little Walter and Magic Sam.
