To celebrate this magnificent instrument's 30 years at the college and C.B. Fisk Organ Builder's 50th anniversary as a company, Wellesley performance faculty member James David Christie will present a program, &ldquo;In Praise of Sweelinck, the Orpheus of Amsterdam.&rdquo; Acclaimed as one of the finest organists of his generation, Christie has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan in solo concerts and with major symphony orchestras under such conductors as Ozawa, Masur, Tennstedt, Dutoit, Bernstein, Davis, Norrington, Pinnock, Parrott, and Hogwood.=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:8pm-10pm (end time approximate)=0D=0A=Reception to follow
