Saturday, February 26 at 7:30 pm  First Church 66 Marlborough Street Boston, MA  The program will include  •Arvo Pärt - Fratres for string orchestra and percussion featuring violin soloist Lilit Hartunian •Daniel Pesca - Apollonian Hymns and Dances (string orchestra) •Chad Gray - Reddish Blue (string orchestra) •Ian Munro - Hymn (string quartet)  •Leaha Maria Villarreal - RISE (string quartet) •Moon Young Ha - Fairy Tale (flute, clarinet, violin, cello, and piano)  •Jeff Myers - Makassar Strait (bass clarinet, vibraphone, piano, violin, and cello)  All works with the exception of Fratres were selected from the organization's international call for scores.   =0D=0A=Tickets ($10) purchased online before February 24 will receive a 20% discount  and will also be available at the door.  The Boston New Music Initiative, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining an international network of composers, performers, conductors, directors, and champions of music in order to generate new music concerts, compositions, collaborations, and commissions.
