The performance will feature local dance studios The Dance Workshop of Hanover and The Boston Highlanders. Additional guests include harpist Ellen Fox, of Sharon, and former WMEX sports talk show host Steve Budkiewicz, who will narrate and guide you through a 'world tour' throughout the evening.  The Band's program will cover much musical (and geographical) territory including Samuel R. Hazo's 'Japanese Folk Song,' with guest harpist Ellen Fox, Robert Smith's “Brazil: Ceremony, Song and Samba” and Pascual Marquina's “España Cañi”. The Dance Workshop of Hanover will accompany the band with choreographed dances for two songs — Reinhold Gliére's “Russian Sailor's Dance” and Luigi Denza's famous “Funiculi Funicula.” The Boston Highlanders, specializing in the traditional and contemporary dances of Scotland, will perform a special number after the band plays “Four Scottish Dances” by Malcolm Arnold.=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:7:30 pm
