Kornbluth considers the enigmatic pop artist's commissioned paintings of ten Jewish luminaries – including Albert Einstein, George Gershwin, Golda Meir, Sigmund Freud and the Marx Brothers – while uncovering his own religious identity and the spiritual dimensions of Warhol's art. The show is written by Josh Kornbluth in collaboration with David Dower, director. Based in San Francisco, Kornbluth is well known for his autobiographical, lighthearted monologues in the style of Eric Bogosian, Lily Tomlin and Spalding Gray.  He performs internationally; his filmed works include Haiku Tunnel, Red Diaper Baby, and Love and Taxes. The show is part of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Performing Arts Series.
