Director Jaroslaw Fret and the company's more than 10 years of investigative research and development into ancient sacred songs. ZAR will perform the acclaimed 'Caesarian Section' the first in the company's performance triptych 'The Gospels of Childhood'. The company's performances are part of a much longer process of research, expeditions, personal explorations, and transformation. The musical structure of this performance was developed from a base of polyphonic Corsican songs, through which the company weaves Bulgarian, Icelandic, and Chechen songs.=0D=0A==0D=0A=Teatr ZAR takes audiences on a journey of polyphonic sound. Death, mourning, ritual and resurrection are essential themes in Teatr ZAR's work.
